Great! submitted by alumeng.ajl on August 2, 2012, 6:52pm Monsters Inc. was the first movie I ever saw in the theater. That means that it holds a special place in my heart. It's one of my favorite children's movies of all time!

Loved It submitted by ejmarcash on August 10, 2012, 12:41am Interesting take on why monsters scare children during the nighttime. The voice actors fit the characters perfectly. A very funny movie that the whole family can enjoy.

Good for everyone submitted by crazypockets on July 13, 2013, 4:21pm This is one of my favorite Pixar movies! It's so cute, and it's one of the more creative ideas from that studio. I love the premise of explaining to children the "monster in the closet" myth and teaching that not everything that may seem scary actually is.

Good submitted by philiptv on July 16, 2013, 11:54am I love this movie. It's one of Pixars best movies

Family Movie! submitted by mwallagm on July 25, 2013, 6:39pm Pixar strikes again with this hilarious new animated film! I definitely think you should watch it!

Also, if you have recently seen Monsters University, this movie actually come after that one, story wise.

Fun, well done movie submitted by janejna on August 4, 2013, 8:45am The content, quality, and fun-factor for this movie is off the charts. The plot is great, characters are complex, and I think adults as well as older kids will be highly entertained by this movie.

Caution: Younger children may be scared or may learn to be scared of monsters if they aren't old enough to understand this movie.

Loved it! submitted by jennifer-ricks on August 13, 2013, 4:49pm I love this movie. I thought it was really funny and cute. This is a movie I hope to share with my children and hope they will love it as much as I do.

Fun submitted by kzheng on June 17, 2015, 6:32pm It is kind of based on little children's nightmares but it has a very fun plot

Charming and creative submitted by wendylv on July 12, 2015, 11:31am Who would think to tell a story about the monsters in your closet from the point of view of the monsters? Pixar, of course. Funny and sweet, parents, especially, will tear up at the bittersweet ending.

love it submitted by Jackie77 on August 10, 2015, 1:30pm Super cute. All the monsters are funny and adorable.

Great submitted by steveiew on August 19, 2015, 2:54pm Fun and heartfelt movie.

Funny submitted by peterflorence on June 30, 2016, 11:59am Hilarious. Might be kind of scary at young ages, but a very good movie.

Okay film submitted by ishhewitt on July 14, 2016, 7:36am A cute children's film. It was okay.

Charming Buddy Comedy submitted by Meginator on August 17, 2017, 5:49pm Monsters Inc. is, in many ways, a quintessential Pixar film. A spin on the classic idea of monsters under the bed, the film follows two buddies as they encounter a real, live human child, of whom they are (naturally) terrified! The characters are charming and their relationships are emotionally honest; the humor, tinged with irony, appeals to viewers on many levels. This is a great film and illustrates why Pixar is so great at what they do.
