Beautiful submitted by crazypockets on July 16, 2013, 4:36pm One of the great musicals. The sets and costumes are gorgeous, and the music is wonderful. Yul Brynner makes this whole movie though. You could put him on the stage and just have him leap around as the King of Siam for two hours, and it would be a great movie. A classic.

Wonderful Musical submitted by ks1287 on July 26, 2013, 7:48pm This is definitely one of my all-time favorite musicals. The costumes, sets, and music are simply breathtaking and who couldn't love Yul Brynner as the king? He's amazing, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Thailand submitted by willow on August 16, 2015, 2:10pm Yul Brynner may or may not have been of Asian heritage, mixed in with Russian, to play the King of Siam, but Rita Moreno's ancestors hailed from Puerto Rico not Siam; she played Tuptim. It was banned in Thailand.
