Wonderful submitted by Morgsush on June 17, 2012, 2:16pm A great movie for all ages. Dumbo is funny and sweet.

son loves this movie submitted by nwall24 on July 4, 2013, 5:13pm My son loves this movie. He could watch it over and over again.

Bad submitted by ishhewitt on July 10, 2016, 7:05pm Even as a child I never enjoyed this film. Circuses are terrible and uncomfortable places for animals. Such a sad film too.

Cute submitted by kbahleda on July 19, 2018, 8:25am Good story that teaches you a good lesson.

Somewhat dated submitted by gxtan on August 17, 2018, 11:17am The setting is somewhat dated, but the overall story and message are wholesome enough, and it all ends happily ever after.

Sad submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 7:24pm This is still a sad movie with beautiful artwork. Conceptually and fortunately, the idea of caging animals her performance is becoming outdated. Still a good tale of overcoming odds.

Dumbo submitted by SBNB on June 22, 2019, 8:20pm I thought there was more action. Nothing really seems to happen. My son mostly liked it.

good story submitted by kevinhe on July 15, 2019, 9:17pm feel so sad for dumbo when he can't find his mom. a good but sad movie!

Dumbo classic submitted by DL on August 31, 2019, 5:34pm Still cry when Dumbo can’t be with his Mother. Glad he found a friend.

Disney had a thing for writing into each movie a way to get rid of the mother submitted by ccrose on August 31, 2019, 10:07pm Think about that. Dumbo is an adorable baby elephant whose mother cradles him through her barred window until someone tries to take Dunbo away and she fights like any mother would. She’s chained and taken away.
No, really, think about the effects this would have on children 3, 4, brought to see a cartoon.I still think about that. And other early cartoons repeat the maneuver.

Joyous, Wise and Wonderfully Entertaining! A Classic! submitted by KidBlue on October 30, 2019, 3:14pm What are you talking about! Dumbo is reunited with Mother Jumbo at the end of the movie, and learns a valuable lesson we all need to learn. He doesn’t need a magic feather or any other kind of foolishness. He needs to know and believe that he is, just as he is, imagnificent and beautiful and useful and lovable.
The greatness of the best Disney films do not flinch from the negative, but they show the positive as victorious and inspiring. This is true with Mary Poppins, Old Yeller, Bambi...and Dumbo.

Great, but sad submitted by TLW1998 on June 24, 2022, 12:10am This is a great movie, but I cry every time that I watch it.

Dated but cute! submitted by Abbie D. on July 8, 2022, 7:17pm I enjoyed this movie as a child! The pink elephants scene was kinda creepy and it's rather sad at some points. Naturally for a 1940s film there are some not so good stereotypes, but they went right over my head as a kid.
