Ambitious Punk/Dub Combo submitted by Meginator on August 1, 2022, 3:15pm This album features an ambitious mix of the Clash’s brand of moody English punk and Jamaican dub, with some experimental notes added in here and there for good measure. The band has a natural, easy rhythmic flow that lends itself naturally to dub, and they are equally convincing in all of the musical styles they attempt across the massive track list. While this is a bit of a departure from the style of “London Calling”, it’s no less powerful and it feels like a natural detour for the band.
