A+ Feel-good film submitted by purchasingqueen on August 13, 2019, 1:12pm With child-like wonder, Forrest discovers the world. This movie will tug at your heartstrings. Every new day is a new adventure for Forrest. As he says, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Highly recommend this film!

Forrest Gump submitted by Varshini on August 21, 2019, 9:37pm Forrest Gump is a movie everyone should watch. I happened to watch it when I was very young, and it was a bit scary to me. I rewatched it again a few years later and fully appreciated it's eminence.

An iconic film submitted by cayluebeck on July 21, 2020, 9:46pm It feels like everyone knows the line, "run Forest run", but not everyone knows the story behind that line. Forrest Gump is an inspiring story with plenty of well-known quotes. The story jumps around between a lot of different mini-stories about Forrest but there is an overall message that connects them all together in the end. Romance, humor, and heart.

My new favorite! submitted by shailu on June 14, 2022, 10:12am Tom Hanks is an amazing actor, slipping into the character of Forrest Gump effortlessly. The movie is wholesome, inspiring, and a tearjerker all at once. 10/10

This movie RUINED the brilliant original novel by WInston Groom. submitted by Steve Amick on August 28, 2022, 9:58pm From the very start, they twisted this dark, Moliere like novel into this sachrine box of chocolates. The line, by the way , at the opening of the book, is the complete opposite stance: "Let me say this: being a idiot ain't no box of chocolates." The devastation continues from there. Do yourself a favor: erase Tom Hanks from your mind, picture ALex Karis as Mongo in Blazing Saddles, and read the real thing.

Role Model submitted by jthompson91 on June 15, 2023, 1:18pm My favorite movie of all time. I think that Forrest’s honesty, earnestness, genuine respect for all, and instinct to always put others before himself make him a great role model.

Classic and Heartwarming Movie submitted by blancharddana on July 13, 2023, 9:57am Tom Hanks did a pretty good job
