Hard to let go.... submitted by katierichter on May 30, 2009, 9:13pm I have mixed emotions about this book. Until halfway through I wasn't sure i liked it. It is unlike any other book I've read. The descriptions are excellent, but I grew tired of the detail. I found myself skipping through very meaty sections. However, once halfway through the book picked up pace. I had trouble putting it down. Now that I have finished I find the characters haunting me, I could not stop thinking about them and I had a hard time giving them up. That to me is the essence of a truely excellent book: characters so real their fate haunts you long after you've put the book down. I am looking forward to reading another book by the same author.
