Great book submitted by peterflorence on July 30, 2014, 10:56am This book tells you about the history of quidditch.

Loved it submitted by srahman on August 22, 2015, 11:43am I liked reading about the origins of the beloved game, Quidditch.

The Encyclopedia for Quidditch submitted by LibraryLiz on July 27, 2017, 10:12am For anyone who wanted to really delve into the nuances and fun facts of the game that is engrained into the wizarding world, this is the book for you. Not only does it have a history of when Quidditch started but also gives the details of old materials used in early quidditch, how the different aspects of the game found their way into the sport, the different cultural influences, and provides anthropological resources and evidence of such (like an old letter from an elderly woman who was annoyed by some hooligans for dropping a leather ball in her garden patch aka: an early quaffle). Additionally, it provides a brief history and culture references for the league's quidditch teams, the history of the racing broom, and the official rules of quidditch along with the official fouls (and how they came to be).

READ IT!

Great Lore submitted by ferielp on August 9, 2017, 12:03pm So great to revisit the world.

Wonderful addition to HP collection submitted by mssthoma on July 17, 2022, 6:45pm Not particularly re-readable (but I’m not generally a sports fan). It is a fun addition to the HP collection though, and is worth its price. Fun for trivia bits
