Enjoyed this book! submitted by teri on July 4, 2018, 12:39pm Life in a small town with laughs, hard times, and just a little bit of mystery. Very realistic. Russo's character development, and his writing, is excellent!
Perfect submitted by courtneyhooper on August 10, 2022, 8:46pm This book is a master class in writing: painting a vivid, heartfelt, palpable sense of the fading American century and its (one-time?) believers. When you consider that The Corrections didn’t win the Pulitzer the year it was published, you’ll wonder how. Then you remember this book beat it out, and the literary world makes sense.
