Great illustrations submitted by cbrewster on August 26, 2013, 12:32pm Beautiful illustrations, especially one where it is sunset over the city. Definitely worthy to be a Caldecott honor book. The story is very short, but it is cute. You can see how the family has fallen in love with the dog and how they rescue him in the end. Good story for children with short attentions spans.
