COMMUNITY REVIEWS
southern novel submitted by unknown on December 5, 2008, 4:25pm Deborah Smith writes big, sprawling novels that take place in the south. Her descriptions of the places are so through and beautiful, that I would like to move there. This is great escapist reading. The hero is named Artemas. His family is poor relatives of wealthy people. Artemas and Lily meet cute as children. The book abounds with interesting characters. While the story is a bit over the top, it is about people who grow and change. How they go from children to success.
