Live Jazz Is the Best Jazz submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:33am This excellent album features a group of musicians at the top of their game collaborating seamlessly to create wonderful solos against fascinating backdrops. The emphasis is often on the electric guitar and piano, giving the ensemble a distinct musical identity, and their smooth interplay is often just as interesting as their individual solos. The general feel is relaxed and effortless, a jazz riff on the blues that celebrates the power of space and form in improvisation. This is absolutely outstanding music, and potentially a good place to start with the genre.
