Surprising Once I Got Into It submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 5:02pm Though I wasn’t initially sure how everything was going to work out, I ended up loving this. This album is a hybrid of sorts that evokes a classic jazz sensibility with electronic instrumentation (particularly an organ), with spectacular results. The general vibe is easygoing, with a lot of space in the solo sections for the featured musicians to develop their ideas and good interplay throughout. I loved the overall balance of the familiar and the modern and will definitely pick this up again.
