Gripping story
One of his best novels and one of his earliest, Iles does an amazing job of keeping the reader glued to the book. The setting of Natchez, Mississippi sets the tone for the book. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a little (or a lot!) of intrigue. He keeps you guessing until the very end!
If you like suspense-mystery - read this book
I read this book because Stephen King had recommended this author. I really enjoyed the mystery and character development. A hard book to put down.
