Jazz and Pop Together submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:19am This album offers a combination of jazz and pop sensibilities, varying from one track to the next but ultimately hanging together pretty well as a complete, coherent package. Cassandra Wilson’s smooth vocals showcase her deep timbre, which sets her apart from a lot of other female singers. Overall, I enjoyed this quite a bit, though it didn’t blow me away.
