At first I thought, " why read this series? Is it rlly as good a ppl say it is?" After I read the book, I was like, " Yeah it totally is !!!"

AWESOME BOOK. If you haven't read this book you are really missing put. From the first chapter you get hooked onto the rest of her amazing series. Read it!

Very good. I recomend this book a lot!

It's pretty good. I liked it, but I wasn't hooked on the series from the first book. You GOT to read the others. They're awesome!

I love this book it has a lot of crazy words in it and a lot of weird stuff but that's why I like it!

this is good

I teach kindergarten and every year we read this, the kids get hooked and can't wait to read the book at home with their families

Great books

I could have enjoyed this book even if it didn't have a plot. The characters and the description of the magic world were so entertaining. One of the best kids books ever.

They're so young!

Great book and series!

Great book!

This is a great book and the start of a great series. It is addicting and makes you want to read more about the boy who lived.

The First Harry Potter on audiobook

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is the first book in the Harry Potter series. Jim Dale does a great job as the narrator for all of the Harry Potter audiobooks. He changes up his voice for different characters but usually not in a too extreme and distracting way. Great for traveling or bedtime stories - though unless you've read or listened to them before, they can be too exciting or emotional to be very relaxing.

7 and 8 year olds loved it

We just finished this with our 7 year old, and it's the first book we've ever read with him that, if I missed reading or hearing a part because it was my husband's turn to read, I actually went back and read it without my son. Now he wants to know when we can start the next one and when he can see the first movie! (Note: that was an old review. We read it this year with our 8 year old daughter, and she became just as much of a fan!)

Great for kids

Great book! All my kids enjoyed this series. My 9 yr old is hooked on Harry Potter!

My all time fav

One day I just decided to pick up a Harry Potter book. I sat down and read the first chapter and was instantly hooked. I stayed up at night and read, and every time I finished it urged to me to read just one more chapter. It has what powered me to read the rest of the series. It never gets boring, it keeps on drawing you in throughout each chapter, but makes you want to read it most at the end of each chapter/ book. It is an amazing series and I urge everyone to read it, or else you're missing out on something really good!
