The unmasking of Freud submitted by Hilda Schram on September 26, 2007, 7:03am Unauthorized Freud is a collection of articles by Freud scholars who unmask Freuds authority. The contributers differ in their degree of respect for Freud, but the rigourous research findings lead to the inescapable conclusion that Freud was and is dangerously overrated. After reading this book one realizes that Freud was but a talented writer of fiction. Psychoanalysis is mythology, disguised as science. This book gives us Freud the man instead of Freud the myth.
