Touched me in a special place submitted by misterfirley on July 31, 2014, 11:55pm I loved Judy Blume's books as a young boy, and as it turns out little has changed - read this as a 39-year-old man and was touched, entertained, and gripped by Blume's wonderful examination of a special relationship that shaped a woman's life in unexpected ways.
Makes you think about how one relationship can change a person's life submitted by mickplu on July 11, 2019, 9:35am This book screams mid to late 70's as we watch two friends from entirely different backgrounds and families grow from preteen to adulthood. It's a worthwhile read and does bring you back to summer vacations and world events from that time period.
Growing up submitted by Aimless on July 24, 2019, 3:31pm This is the story of almost any one friendship as you grow up
