La Barque submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 19, 2015, 3:23am La Barque is probably my favorite Monet piece, even though I don't find it the most soothing or accessible. I am fond of the ships and his depiction of them and the water and sky. It is slightly foreboding but can sometimes be viewed as tranquil, or at least as a meditative captured moment.
