Not as good as other Haldeman submitted by lbflute on June 11, 2022, 1:07pm I was roped into reading this after pleasant experiences reading Haldeman's other books including The Forever War and The Accidental Time Machine. This book fell flat: the concepts were too farfetched, and there was too much focus on war for my interests. The ending was also disappointing: too much build-up to lead to too few details about how things play out. For fans of Haldeman, I would recommend skipping this one.
