Another great book series by Cynthia Rylant submitted by gokatiedid on August 10, 2018, 10:01am One of our absolute favorite kids books for early readers. So sweet and fun. My daughters love when I read this to them and give each of the characters their own distinct voice (Cherry Sue the Llama gets a southern belle voice, Hudson the Mouse is squeaky and high, and Fillmore the Goat gets a deep baritone). A sweet and appropriate and fun book for early readers.
A Favorite submitted by GSchne on July 23, 2022, 10:00pm Poppleton is one of the many great books with animal characters. It provides opportunities for an adult to invent fun voices, making it a great book to read aloud, but the book is absolutely simple enough for an early reader to tackle on their own.
