Beach stroll submitted by weibullk on July 10, 2012, 5:02am This is one of the best Skagen beach paintings by Norweigan-Danish painter Peter Severin Kroyer (1851-1909). It was painted 1893 when painters Anna Ancher and Marie Kroyer strolled the sandy beach.

Lovely blending of styles and a pleasant item to look at.
