Dummy submitted by VickyB77 on August 6, 2015, 3:40pm This is a very relaxing album to just hang out and listen to while you chill. Lots of great songs.

Not chill dinner party music submitted by answer-beat on March 13, 2022, 8:25pm I will never understand why people toss Portishead in the same box as Kruder & Dorfmeister and other hip boutique downtempo acts. Actually listen to the songs! They're dark and depressing! The chorus to its biggest hit goes "Nobody loves me, it's true"! But it is highly comforting if you've been listening to these songs for decades, and you're going through a rough time and need something familiar that reflects the bleakness of life. If you've never heard this band before, this is an essential album and you need to hear it, just do not play it expecting harmless chillout music. This is not a Zero 7 album.
