Youth level.
Although the sand crabs try in many ways to get rid of Old Meshikee the turtle, they are not as clever as he and so fail to end his drumming.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A Trickster Tale submitted by teri on June 18, 2018, 8:36pm Our 4 year old grand-daughter loves this story.
It helped to read the story myself first, and to figure out how I would pronounce the Ojibwe words - meshikee (turtle), shagizenz (crabs).
It's a good story that builds. The drumming sound-effects make it exciting, and wise old turtle outwits the crabs in the end!
