A Trickster Tale
submitted by teri on June 18, 2018, 8:36pm
Our 4 year old grand-daughter loves this story.
It helped to read the story myself first, and to figure out how I would pronounce the Ojibwe words - meshikee (turtle), shagizenz (crabs).
It's a good story that builds. The drumming sound-effects make it exciting, and wise old turtle outwits the crabs in the end!
