More Than the Same Old Songs! submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:51am Though I was worried after the first few tracks that this compilation was simply going to present the same few songs that always end up on these albums, it got more interesting at track 9 and went completely bonkers at track 13. What you’re left with at the end is a mix of big-time Disney Renaissance hits, lesser-known songs from the original classics, a couple of *very* deep cuts from the mid-1960s, and a completely bizarre old timey Mickey Mouse theme song that still makes the rounds instrumentally but deserves revisiting for its absolutely hilarious (and very not-modern Mickey) lyrical content. So, yeah, definitely not what I expected, but way better than I had dared to hope.
