Good story plot but certain parts were annoying
Touching submitted by mansii on August 18, 2015, 10:16pm One of the most touching and inspiring children's books on friendship I have read. I discovered this as an adult but wish I had grown up with it.
Bittersweet submitted by thesrays on August 25, 2019, 7:44pm This is one of those books I always thought I'd read, but hadn't. Reading it through adult eyes brought a poignant appreciation I would have missed as a child. For example, the description Mole gives when returning to his former home brought to my own mind the places I've left behind that no longer seem to fit. In my mind, this book is just as much for adults as it is for children. Timeless.
