Good book submitted by kathscot on August 14, 2012, 8:32pm Biology for 1st graders on a topic that's good for them to know about. I loved reading this to my kids back in the day.
Good one submitted by rimpopu on August 2, 2014, 9:41pm This book answers how you get sick. It explains in simple words the basic biology about bacteria and virus, white blood cells, antibodies, etc., to the child. I wish it emphasized more on cover your cough and sneeze, wash your hands before and after you eat, or wash your fruits and vegetables. It tells you shots are helpful which may offend the sentiments of some parents regarding health issues. It is a good book for children who want to know how we fall sick and don't mind reading a lot about the science behind it.
Nice germy book.

Gives K-2 an idea of how and why they get sick. Nice cartoon-style drawings make it interesting for even the young uns. Highly recommended.
