Great submitted by dwliu90 on June 17, 2016, 12:20pm Great story told in the songs

Classic Musical Theater Tracks submitted by Meginator on June 15, 2019, 10:41am This musical includes some of the most iconic music theater songs ever written, including “I Got Rhythm”, and puts them together in the kind of convoluted, intricate plot arc that Broadway shows pull off so well. The orchestral and vocal performances are top-notch, and the songs sound straight out of the Jazz Age despite being recorded in the early 1990s, but the story itself is barely evident from the songs alone, making this album more enjoyable as a set of songs than as a narrative device. Even so, it’s a fun and fitting nod to two titans of musical theater.

classic and catchy submitted by Sara W on August 2, 2019, 12:36pm you already know the majority of these tunes, even if you don't know the words, or even realize that you are humming along. as a result, this soundtrack is instantly familiar and enjoyable for anyone with a passing familiarity with old movies or musical theater.
