An andventure awaits! submitted by gulickb on May 7, 2015, 9:25am How I spent My Summer Vacation is a wonderful picturebook about a Wallace Bleff who tell as tall tale in rhyme about how he spent his summer as a cowboy. It is a tale about imagination and the joys of summer. The artwork is crisp and clear with some very beautiful pages. The book would be good for someone who loves cowboys and for someone who is on the verge of reading by themselves as the rhyming nature of the book lends itself, first to memorization and then to reading. The books is well worth the read!
