Dinosaurs submitted by SBNB on August 6, 2015, 10:36pm Very interesting and very informative. This is definitely a Magic School Bus book worth reading.
Surprisingly Deep Dig submitted by Meginator on August 1, 2022, 3:19pm This classic Magic School Bus story has adventure and education in equal measure as Ms. Frizzle’s class visits an archeological dig site and, of course, several prehistoric points in time. The book is fairly comprehensive and packs in a lot of information between the main story, the class members’ brief additional reports, and information boxes scattered among the dense illustrations. The pictures can feel a bit dense, but it’s worth reading through everything for the additional subplots and some running gags, as well as a better sense of the characters’ individual personalities (poor Arnold). Although these books are a bit on the didactic side of the spectrum, they are plenty entertaining and this one provides an excellent and surprisingly comprehensive introduction to the subject of dinosaurs.
