Rests on the Strength of the Main Theme submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:14am This score is dominated by the classic theme song, and its mix of bright fanfares and smooth melodic passages immediately evokes the grandeur and raw power of the doomed Jurassic Park. In typical John Williams style, this theme forms the core of several tracks, although they feel more like rote repetitions here than in many of his other film scores. The interstitial tracks are standard cinematic fare, conveying darker moods and danger in time with the onscreen action. The strength of the theme alone warrants a high rating, but the soundtrack is surprisingly unbalanced when approached in isolation.

Jurassic Park Soundtrack submitted by SBNB on June 22, 2022, 11:13pm I watched this movie only once when I was a kid, but ever since starting to listen to Film Scores radio on Pandora, the soundtrack has become a favorite. It's instantly recognizable, and it really is excellent.
