COMMUNITY REVIEWS

A 90's Gem submitted by scooterpie on July 23, 2011, 1:19pm August and Everything After - Counting Crows major debut - is not only one of the best albums of the 90's, but one of the best albums to be released in the past 20 years. Every song is placed perfectly on the album moving the listener through a series of complex emotions over the anxiety of relationships, life, death, and everything in between.

While most people may know the big singles like Mr. Jones and Round Here, the albums top songs are easily Omaha and Anna Begins. An absolute must-listen for anyone.

August and Everything After submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 6, 2015, 2:07am It's not just the nostalgia talking - this is still a fantastic album. It has hit singles but works as a whole, poetic and painting a picture of longing, inertia, and inevitable change. Rain King remains my favorite track.

Still one of my favorites submitted by Emily LB on July 10, 2023, 9:55am Love this album. Have listened to it off/on for the past 20 years and it holds up. Great for road trips and rainy days. 5/5 stars.
