Snip, Snap, Snout submitted by Sara W on July 13, 2015, 10:00pm I love this retelling of the Three Billy Goats Gruff! It has all the elements I remember, but keeps things simple. This is a great story for telling to a crowd, it's easy to follow, there is fun repetition and building suspense, and the illustrations are big and broad. The troll is loud and mean and ugly, but not too scary for little ones. The conclusion and the closing line also helps to give this tale its classic oral tradition feel.
