first book submitted by ersmith.maps on July 22, 2012, 8:25pm You can kind of tell that this was Terry Brooks's first novel, because the plot kinda rambles on and doesn't get moving fast until 500 pages in. That being said, this is still one of the must-read works of classic fantasy.
