A gorgeous read submitted by selkielass on June 12, 2015, 4:29pm Thomas King's Green Grass, Running Water is a fiercely funny, complexly plotter novel. It's one of those books you have to read at least twice - once for the plot, and once to pick out and piece together all the underlying themes, motifs, and structural techniques. Segments of this novel are achingly beautiful, others scathingly satirical, and a lol if it is starkly human.
