Great Recordig of a Timeless Show submitted by Meginator on July 16, 2023, 9:27pm This is a fun recording of a familiar show that helps to illustrate how the same material can shift deoendig on the musicians who are performing it. All of the lead roles are cast well and the vocalists and orchestra alike do a great job of balancing the show's emotional notes with its humor. From the sounds of this album, the 1992 revival was a really strong one, and it's a lot of fun to listen to even without the benefit of the full theatrical performance.
