COMMUNITY REVIEWS
typical submitted by airgood on August 5, 2014, 1:00pm Defend and Betray is fairly typical of Perry's other books in the William Monk series. As in her other books, she relies heavily on evidence that Hester Latterly discovers and the legal prowess of Oliver Rathbone. Monk seemed to have a more limited role in this book but we learn more about his past as it gradually comes back to him. It's nothing super spectacular, but it's an enjoyable read.
