COMMUNITY REVIEWS
One of my Favorites of the Series submitted by Sara W on June 21, 2011, 9:32am Great look at the social experience of frontier towns; I love the society events that the townspeople come up with to entertain themselves - like the town-wide spelling bee and that wax museum event. People were just as creative and resourceful in entertaining and creating community events as they are in daily survival.
:-) submitted by marisal on June 26, 2011, 1:57pm I liked this book but am still sad that Mary is blind.

Awesome Classic submitted by TLW1998 on June 23, 2022, 11:22pm One of the best books that I have ever read. Laura has a charming way of writing. She is a great story teller, and her stories really paint a picture of what it was like to live as an early American pioneer. My 5-6 year old daughter and I loved reading the entire Little House series together. The books are very enjoyable and educational too. I highly recommend reading the entire collection. This book focuses on their house on the prairie in South Dakota.
