Vonnegut's Best submitted by zpritchard on August 7, 2014, 11:45pm Cat's Cradle may not be an ideal starting point for someone new to Vonnegut, but it is personally my favorite of his novels. I started with Slaughterhouse-Five, which is definitely his most famous work and maybe his most accessible. Once you have a feel for Vonnegut's style, though, Cat's Cradle is a must-read. It's clever, it's witty, and it's deeply thought-provoking. If I had to pick a favorite book, this might just be it.
My favorite Vonnegut, and book! submitted by alicimez on June 17, 2017, 11:47pm This was the first Vonnegut novel I read and even after reading every single one of his other books (that I could find) it's still my favorite. It's funny and dark and supremely entertaining. A must read for all lovers of books!
Favorite submitted by pepemama on July 21, 2017, 3:43pm I have friends from Indiana and the description of Indiana folk in this book makes me smile. Truly Mr. Vonnegut's best book. From the mind of this mad genius comes forth this insightful satirical and hilarious novel.
Ice 9 submitted by SolaireFQ on August 11, 2018, 7:35pm One of the best by Vonnegut.
