Remains relevant submitted by mariekakaye on August 20, 2018, 11:35am Although written in the 1980s, the ideas discussed in this book remain poignant and relevant today. There may be some things that are outdated, but the majority of the book is very compelling and made me think in a different way. If you're interested in the way we're shaped by our family, and how that carries across our lifetime, this is essential reading. It kept me fascinated from beginning to end, and made sense of certain things that had been hanging over me for years.
