middle book

but keeps an epic tale moving along with a great sense of adventure.

The Two Towers

This is another great part of a great story. Sometimes, middle books or middle movies can be a letdown, but this one holds its own. It's just as good, if not better, than the other two.

Two stories

The Fellowship from book 1 has been split up. In this book one part tells what happens with Frodo, Sam and Gollum; the other part tells about Pippin, Merry, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas.

Great Book

This is my favorite series! I would definitely recommend it.

Two Towers

Great Book. Builds off of the story in The Fellowship of the Ring, and leads into The Return of the King.

Two Towers

A good penaultimate book, cliffhanger ending sets up the third book well. Although a bit slow at times, completely worth it.

sad ending

It is a classic, I recommend it
