Good suspense, weak romance submitted by ssands on July 6, 2016, 7:30pm Pretty suspenseful. The main character's background was revealed very cleverly in the first few chapters. There is an endangered child, which might bother some readers. The romance in the story seemed unmotivated to me -- sort of tacked on.
Great mystery submitted by hjafuller on July 4, 2017, 2:53pm The mystery and suspense in this book were great, and I loved the descriptions of the setting, as always with Mary Stewart. I enjoyed the characters, though the romance did seem a little unlikely.
