Once upon a time
A wonderful and dark musical that combines traditional fairy tales, including Cinderella, Jack and the Bean Stalk, and Little Red Riding Hood. The lyrics are smart and the melodies enchanting. It seems that the story is over after the first act--everyone has what they want. However, Into the Woods takes into account that people are rarely happy with what they have and keep searching for more. In this case, it ends in disaster for most.
