One of the Greatest Albums Ever Recorded submitted by KidBlue on April 25, 2016, 10:17pm I know that is a heady statement, that this is one of the greatest albums ever recorded, but if you like Frank Sinatra at all, you will love this album of mostly standards done with a great, jazzy, swinging big band behind him. Frank and the orchestra become one organic, powerful performance. The opening song, When you're smiling (the whole world smiles with you), leaps out of the speakers and makes you want to sing along and dance. It closes with a hysterical swing version of Ol' Mac Donald.
A must for anyone who enjoys Frank Sinatra at his hippest.
