Up with Quentin Blake submitted by FordAlpha on July 15, 2018, 11:14pm I think this is actually one of Dr. Seuss' best texts for early readers, and (blasphemous though it may be to say so), this book is all the better for being illustrated by Quentin Blake rather than by Dr. Seuss himself. I love Blake's lively, cheerful, watercolored pictures of animals and people. My 6-year-old was initially reluctant to try reading this book, but soon began to smile more and more broadly and eventually laughed out loud at the silliness. (The last page, however, is my favorite.)
