Had to go get my own copy
submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 26, 2014, 10:20am
This was so wonderful that though I originally read it from the library, I have since gotten a copy for my own shelves.
It's a parable, or a myth, or a story with deeper meaning. It reminded me of the children's story The Phantom Tollbooth in some ways (when words meant what they actually were and had power beyond what anyone expected). It was the story of an unexpected journey, the way we all live life and are on a journey, if only we can see that. You could read it to your kids, or read it to yourself, read it once, or read it once a year.
Yep. I own a copy now.
