Good for people who already know some Esperanto submitted by GCFB SHOP666 on July 16, 2018, 3:39pm I have been learning Esperanto for a little over a year and I first got this book shortly after I started learning. It was somewhat hard, but still helpful, because it has very detailed explanation of the grammar, as well as a large Esperanto-English dictionary at the end. I got it a second time (much more recently), and now it is much easier to understand, and its many texts to read in Esperanto are very helpful. When I first started learning Esperanto, it was a little difficult. Then, it got much easier very quickly, which is why this book started making more sense the second time I got it.

There only seems to be one problem with the book: there is a long list of words at the end of every chapter that is meant to be memorized. Some of the words are then used in a dialog, which is the last part of each chapter. This is what confused me when I first read this book because memorizing words can be hard.

I like that AADL has at least one book for learning Esperanto, but I would like it if there were more. Esperanto is a fun language to learn.

Basically, I think this is a good book for learning Esperanto if it is used along with other methods.
