Excellient book about WWI

This book is an incredible read. You feel like you are at the front lines with the soldiers. While the 1930 movie is good, it doesn't do justice to the thoughts and fears of Paul as he tries to survive.

Unusual in that the 1930 film of the same name is better than the inspiring book, All Quiet is a moving work that illustrates that war is not the glorious parade we think it to be.
