The mathematical tourist : snapshots of modern mathematics
For someone who has studied some Calculus level math the presentation would not be difficult to follow. However, other than the matierial on Fractals I didn't learn anything new.
NOT accessible math for average person
Even with great interest, you need to pretty much have a degree in math or physics to really understand/appreciate this book. Despite promises of being "accessible," this is not the book you want to pick up even if you are looking for math reading.
