A classic rocketry reference submitted by peteralway on August 28, 2018, 4:19pm The pioneering mid-20th century period of rocketry is often neglected in current books about rocketry and space travel. The International Missile and Spacecraft Guide gives a valuable picture into the progress of rocketry in the 1940's and 1950's, profiling dozens of individual missile, upper atmosphere research, and space rockets that started the space age. As a model maker, I found this reference an inspiration. In many cases, the projects listed here are a great starting point for 21st century web searches, and in other cases, I've found information here that has never made it to the internet. It's a great historical resource.
