Real Finnish Foods submitted by annecox on July 31, 2011, 5:35pm I received my grandmother's copy of this book (with her annotations) as a wedding present, so there is some sentimental value to this book for me. Regardless, this book has all the standard Finnish fare you could wish for. It's particular strength is in breads and pastries, not only recipes, but different ways of braiding and arranging said pastries. Meats and main dishes tend towards fish and seafood. There's also some information about how Finns eat and entertain. A great book if you are interested in Finnish cooking.
